I got i motion eye built in webcam but it doest work?

got this vaio slim pc and untill now my built in motion eye webcam doest work and i waited for the the yahoo msgr 4 vista and i tought its gonna work now.and everytime i try to open the webcam it says webcam is not connected and i even tried all the settings but still not working.hope someone can help me.thx alot
