Sansa Sandisk Media Converter?

ok , i have the 8gb sansa sandisk mp3 e280, and my brother has the e260 and his came with the sansa media converter cd, but it doesnt work, i know how to add the videos, but everytime i try opening a video on the media converter, it overloads and does the whole send or dont send error box. then i press dont send and it exits it out, i try puting my videos on the mp3 from rhapsody, but it just never works, it jsut says error format not suitable for this device, so should i buy the latest sansa media converter or what should i do? thanks.
