How did Two and a Half Men Profit if Sheen made so much?

I have heard that Two and a Half Men made $2.89 million for each half hour. I have also read that Sheen made close to 2 million dollars per episode and that he is complaining about how much Lorre and the producers are making. With only a million to stretch between the other actors, crew and writers, how was it SO beneficial to the producers? The other one and a half men must have made close to a million between them. What am I missing?
