Based on the "Seven Standards of Ecological feeding" does it still apply if I fed my baby every 4 hours?

It's my understanding that if your baby goes longer than 4 hours even once, it can restart your fertility, even if you don't get a period. (you can still be ovulating even if you're not menstruating)
